Financial restrictions for projects are imposed with the aim to limit the pressure on students to fund projects from their own pocket. Such personal funding is limited to 1000 TL per project.
However, additional funding may be obtained from appropriate sources such as the supervior, industry, Tubitak and hobby clubs etc. Such additional funding must be declared to the GPC at the start of the project and may be rejected by the GPC if deemed inappropriate.

Additional notes:
- The department does not provide financial support beyond facilities that are already available in labs.
- During the assessment of students in a project, the assessor will take care to factor out the cost of a project and focus on the actual skills and performance of the student.
