EEE 499 is a compulsory (4 credit) course taken in either the seventh or the eighth semester of the final year. Students taking this course conduct a supervised study that includes design and/or construction. Group projects (up to 4 students) are encouraged as long as each student has well defined separate tasks. Course assessment is based on a mid-term presentation, a written report, and a final presentation all of which are assessed by at least two academic staff in addition to the project supervisor. The whole process is over-looked by the Graduation Project Committee (GPC).
