Students taking this course conduct a supervised study that includes design and/or construction. Group projects (up to 4 students) are encouraged as long as each student has well defined separate tasks.
Interdisciplinary projects are encouraged; i.e. projects that involve different disciplines of electric and electronic engineering or collaboration with other departments.

Special note for design-only projects:
A project may be entirely design-only (i.e. containing no construction) on condition that:

• Such projects must contain clearly stated design specifications with a method outlined for verifying that the design objectives have been met (for example a computer simulation of the design).
• These projects will be labeled as "design-only" in the project list.
• The number of such projects will not exceed 20% of the total number of offered projects.
• Every student has the right to be offered a project that focuses on construction.
