Students can choose projects from the list of available projects. These projects, all subjected to approval by the GPC, are proposed from various sources:

• Supervisors: A supervisor proposes a topic depending on their own interest.

• Students: A student (or group of students) proposes their own project.
  Please read the specific regulations that apply to such proposals.

• Tubitak: A successful Tubitak funded project [link required?] can be counted as an EEE499 project. The student simply submits a report and attends the presentations (for the purpose of assessment).

• Industry: Projects arranged through relationships with industry [link required?] are strongly encouraged.

• GPC: Some projects will be proposed by the GPC and maybe performed by more than one project group at the same time.

• Departments: Joint (interdisciplinary) projects involving students from other departments. Such projects are strongly encouraged.

• Other: Alternative sources of projects may be considered if they follow the spirit and regulations of EEE499.
